We focused on simple but classic typography choices and brand styling – calling back to a “simpler time”. Franky D’s vision was to be a local family-orientated favorite in the community. We suggested adding the tagline “Family Kitchen” to help drive their unique goal home.
In the next phase, we made a vintage styled double-sided menu, separated by their “simple” and “savory” meal options. As Franky D’s offers a wide selection of items, we focused on creating a sensibly flowing, easy-to-understand design that didn’t leave patrons overwhelmed. Simple line work helps to flow the entire document without causing too much visual distraction.
